Yousra is a sustainability professional specializing in responsible supply chain and energy, bringing forth a wealth of experience working globally for blue-chip companies in 8 countries across the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe. She is a skilled negotiator who has developed successful relationships with stakeholders in governments and businesses. 

Yousra started her career in oil and gas. Seeing the ecological crisis and climate change created an impetus for Yousra to move to sustainability to make a tangible difference. She has an MSc in environment and sustainable development from University College London. She applied her experiences to sustainability research, linking theory with practice in energy efficiency and uncovered opportunities in retrofitting existing structures. 

After completing her academic journey, Yousra embarked on a career promoting sustainability and implementing energy-efficient solutions. She started by working with local governments and nonprofit organizations, advocating for policies that incentivized energy retrofits and conducting outreach to raise awareness about the benefits of sustainable practices.  

Yousra also educates businesses and corporations seeking to embed sustainability in their value chains to reduce waste and carbon emissions and achieve biodiversity and social value targets. Today, Yousra is regarded as a thought leader in the sustainability community, with a reputation for excellence and a track record of success. Through her advocacy and unwavering dedication, her work has transformed infrastructure and inspired many individuals to embrace sustainability.
