William Begg
William is a member of the Energy Institute and the Energy Managers Association, with over seven years’ experience in energy and sustainability within the higher education sector. With a background in Environmental Science and Building Surveying, he is particularly enthusiastic about embedding into sustainability in the built environment.
William is the Energy Manager at Kingston University, where he develops and manages the organisation’s energy and operational carbon reduction strategy. A key component of this strategy is the delivery of the annual Capital Carbon Management budget.
He has recently led the development of the organisation’s heat decarbonisation plans, which provide a clear programme of works to achieve the university’s operational net-zero goals.
