Jon has over 25 years’ experience leading various environment and energy programmes across Europe, the UK and local government. Most recently he led the South West Net Zero Hub, from early startup to growth and delivery of energy project development, community energy, public sector decarbonisation and large scale housing retrofit programmes, which won an UnlocK Net Zero Award. This included oversight and direction of the Hub’s work to develop it’s £400m project pipeline supporting Local Area Energy Plans, heat network development, solar, green hydrogen, battery storage, able to pay housing retrofit and Net Zero development planning for various local authorities. As Hub manager he led engagement with the Department for Energy Security local Net Zero Programme and various other policy teams. He has also managed various other project and programmes for clients including social housing retrofit and supply chain development, city level energy planning tools, green mortgages, use of EPC data to enable better engagement and design of housing retrofit schemes and environmental business support, which was shortlisted for a Business Green Leaders Award. Jon is a full member of the Association for Project Management.
