Ed is responsible for delivering a range of our energy and climate change services, in particular those related to heat networks, energy efficiency and decarbonisation as well as wider climate change strategy development. Ed is an experienced local government manager and is a Chartered Manager (CMgr) and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI). Ed has managed a range of environment services, including energy and climate, flood, ecology, heritage, arboriculture as well as major infrastructure permitting (HS2). Ed’s technical background is in climate change and energy management, and he has broad experience in taking projects from concept, developing business cases and through to delivery and operation, as well as related strategy and policy development. Ed is also experienced in securing grant funding for a range of activities, including heat network feasibility and capital grants for major infrastructure projects.
