Cristian Sasmiresan is an experienced Energy Manager with over 5 years of expertise in implementing ISO 50001 across multiple sites. A Certified Energy Engineer (AEE) and a Lead ISO 50001 Auditor, Cristian specializes in driving energy efficiency improvements and optimizing energy management systems. He holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has a Master’s in Business and Management Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. With a deep commitment to sustainability, Cristian helps businesses achieve their energy goals while enhancing operational performance. Outside of work, Cristian enjoys staying active by playing tennis and running, always looking for ways to challenge both mind and body.
