Sustainable Energy First is an energy and sustainability consultancy, founded in 1997 to solve energy management problems in very large, complex commercial estates. This remains the core of the business driven by a commitment to sustainability and the goal of reducing our clients’ carbon footprint.
The business repositioned to ‘Sustainable Energy First’ in September 2022, which reflects a renewed focus on supporting UK business to achieve a positive climate impact, whilst providing financial stability.
In August 2024, Sustainable Energy First, backed by Beech Tree Private Equity, acquired business utility and sustainability consultancy, Inenco. The acquisition brought together two businesses with one common objective; to make truly renewable energy more accessible to businesses of all sizes helping them achieve their Net Zero targets.
The company is continuing to evolve and grow – developing our industry leading people and systems and assisting our clients with emerging technologies including renewables.
