Energy and its importance for households and businesses has profoundly changed over the last five years. For a just transition to a more secure and prosperous future, the UK must champion the critical role of decentralised energy. We’re moving in the right direction, but the true economic and social benefits of a smart, local and low-carbon energy system have not yet been prioritised.
